About Us

Our Company

We are proud to be a small family run,  "Mom n' Pop" business.  No corporate structure here, you deal direct with the owners.  When you come to pick up your trailer you will meet the people that built your trailer, by hand.  We build every trailer as if it was our own.  After all, when you purchase a "Goat" you become a member of the Mountain Goat family.

Frames

The foundation of your trailer is it's frame.  That's why it is important to have a good frame for your trailer.  Like the foundation of a house, everything is built on top of it.  Our frames are built in-house and constructed of square-tube American made Steel.  We use this type of steel for a number of reasons, but most importantly is the fact that each corner has four attach points (4 sides to a square).  This creates a very strong connection.  Our frames are also primed before they are powder coated to protect them against corrosion.  The result is a frame that is strong, rigid, and built to last a lifetime of service.

Quality, Affordability, Lightweight

These three things are the basis for our business.  While we strive to make our trailers as affordable as possible, we refuse to sacrifice quality.  Our trailers are designed to be as light as possible so they can be towed behind a wider range of vehicles.
